Dr. Megen Anne Yerman

Megen is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who primarily works with the adult population. She is certified to treat a wide range of disorders including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, anger/irritability, and sleep disturbances. Megen's primary role will be prescribing medications, though she believes in using the least amount of medications at the lowest effective dose to achieve and maintain stability. Personalized and quality care is her goal. Megen will provide you with guidance, support, and education through your wellness journey. Megen completed her Master's degree at Walden University. This course provided Megen with the knowledge of nuances within psychiatric pharmacology, correctly identifying and treating a multitude of disorders, and implementing multifaceted therapy techniques- such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and a person-centered approach to treatment.
