Meghan Johnson

Meghan is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received bachelor's degrees from both UW-Madison and Edgewood College before completing the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Edgewood College.
Meghan began her practice in 2021 at a busy family medicine clinic in the Madison, WI area before joining Tamarack Health in 2025. She previously taught bachelor's nursing courses and has six years of experience as an inpatient nurse.
Meghan sees patients of all ages, from newborn to end of life. Her clinical interests include women's health, pediatrics, and diabetes. Currently, she is training to become a lactation consultant (IBCLC) and will incorporate lactation care into her primary care practice. Meghan believes that patient care is a collaborative effort, bringing together the knowledge and resources of both the provider and the patient. She enjoys the ongoing long-term relationships she is able to foster in primary care.
Meghan grew up in Hayward and is happy to be practicing and …raising her family in her hometown. In her free time, Meghan enjoys cooking, reading, and cross-country skiing. She and her husband enjoy being outdoors with their three children and playing board games together.
