After years, and several doctors, Dr. Rodden discovered the source of my pain in two office visits, immediately coming to the correct diagnosis and treatment. She was informative, caring and professional. She took her time to explain what was wrong, the surgery needed, and the consequences of not having the issue fixed. I have never had a doctor so informative and patient.

Dr. Rodden misdiagnosed me for over a year. After 2 MRI’s the only thing she could tell me is she didn’t know what the problem was to come back in 6 months. After migraines not going away went to UVA. Thank goodness I listened to my head and went. The neurologist at UVA looked at the MRI and right away said I had a brain tumor. So luckily I went to UVA and am getting treatment. Beware always get a second opinion.

My first experience with Dr. Rodden was wonderful. She was helpful&supportive with great bedside manner. Next, I was told to get a MRI, which I did, but it took them 3 weeks to call with my results and I had to call 2 times to ask for results. My next appt I was 10 min late (which yes, was my fault), but I was checked in and paid my co pay, but later the loud trashy nurse came out yelling my name to the receptionist for the whole waiting room to hear(against HIPAA) saying I was too close to the 15 min mark and they wouldn’t see me and turned me away. Never in my life have I been treated that way. Ever!!

Met with Dr. Rodden due to excessive migraines and extreme dizziness. She has a great bedside manner and listened intently and explained each step we went through and what it was for. Prescribed a brain mri and went through it in terms I could understand. Still cannot figure out the root cause but she is very proactive in prescribing different meds to try and I know with her help, we will figure out what is going on and I will get the help I need to get me back to work.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Rodden for almost a year. She has always taken time to thoroughly explain my MRIs and the way ahead. She will not mislead you but will gather extensive data before arriving at a definitive diagnosis. She is very patient and very kind but yet forthcoming about any conditions and treatment. My wait time is never long, but if it were, it wouldn’t matter because she takes as much time with me as I need. Her staff is nice as well. Scheduling is never a problem. She is by far the BEST neurologist I’ve ever had and I will maintain her as my neurologist despite relocating out of the country.

My condition is difficult in that I not only have had petit mal seizures for 40 years, I have begun falling and have lost vision in my left eye due to a stroke. She did an excellent job in looking at my records and explains her concerns and a plan for me to live well with the medical issues I face. A gracious, kind, gifted physician.

Dr. Rodden is always on time. She never makes you feel as if she is rushing your visit. She answers all of your questions and makes sure you understand by using the teach back method. She always has a smile and pleasant greeting for her patients.

I have only seen Dr. Rodden twice so far, but she is one of the most caring Doctors I have seen in many years. She doesn't rush through the appointment and takes time to explain exactly why she is doing certain things and how it will affect my treatment. Everyone in the office is very friendly and professional and I am very happy that my PCP recommended her.
