Dr. Meghann Lussier

I wish I would have read reviews before making an appointment as I would have made my appointment with anyone else at the office except Dr. Lussier. The other doctors had great reviews, but I did not see any on Dr. Lussier. I was referred to the office that she works at because of the potential need for a root canal. I had seen my dentist for a cavity fill that was to be followed by a crown. Because I was having pain prior to the cavity being taken care of my Dentist did not want to put a crown on the tooth without having it checked for the need of a root canal. When I went for my consultation with Dr. Lussier, I was pain-free for over a week. Also, the 3-D image showed that the root was calcified. My nonprofessional 20/20 vision tells me that because of no pain and a calcified root the advice I should have been given by the professional to not mess with the tooth. My dentist would have put a temporary crown on, and given it months to see if it stayed pain-free before putting the… permanent crown on. Instead, Dr. Lussier spent two hours, drilling and prodding in an attempt to find the calcified root. She only stopped because her tools could not dig any further. I am now in constant pain/discomfort in the area of the tooth along with a dull headache each day. I went back to my dentist, and because of the amount of tooth that was drilled away, I can no longer get a post and will need an implant. Because of the pain and the potential for it to get worse, at any moment, I must start the procedure sooner than later.
