Dr. Meghann Cathleen Wilkens

As a licensed clinical social worker, helping people achieve their goals is the best part of what I do. I chose the field because I wanted to walk alongside people through their wellness journey. Working together to make a plan, and then ensuring they have the resources to put that plan into action is so rewarding, and what makes me feel good about the work I do. \n While I am trained in cognitive behavior therapy, I am flexible in my theoretical approach so I can better meet clients where they are. This can include incorporating art, music or other creative activities into a therapy plan to achieve goals. I believe that sessions should be client-led, as you are the expert on you! I have worked with patients of all ages, from age 3 up to age 104. I especially love getting to work with children and their families to help them achieve the stability and wellness that they want. \n My family and I are close and we love spending time together. I have dogs who I happily admit are spoiled! …When I am not playing with them, I love to knit, crochet, read and play video games.
