I can't sing Dr. Fahkrai's praises enough! My mother was fortunate to cross his path at Providence Holy Cross at a time in her life when she was the sickest she had ever been in her life. Everything was touchy and it was a very difficult time for our family but we slept at night because we knew Dr Fahkrai was never far away. DR FAHKRAI WAS WITH MY MOM EVERY SINGLE DAY - LOOKING FOR EVEN THE SMALLEST CHANGE IN HER CONDITION & CHECKING & RE-CHECKING EVERYTHING and chewing the nurses out if any instruction wasn't heeded. He was committed to my mom's recovery from the start & he was as aggressive with her treatments as most doctors are with people half her age. He saved my mom's life & I will be eternally grat eful to him for everything he did. He is AN AMAZING DR & HE DOES NOT GIVE UP ON HIS PATIENT'S. He's the type of Dr you would want on your team if you or a loved one was in trouble! AMAZING DR AMAZING HUMAN BEING!

Dr. Mehdi Fakhrai walked into the e.r. at Holy Cross Hospital and found my husband in the throes of an aortic dissection. He thoroughly explained the problem, the ramifications and the surgery. The surgery took ten hours. My husband had every possible complication, but Dr. Fakhrai was there, checking on him in CCU, every day, morning and night. I know, because I was there, as well. My husband continues to see Dr. Fakhrai for follow-up. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Dr. Fakhrai for cardio-thoracic consult. He is a brilliant doctor, an excellent diagnostician and a wonderful person with a kind heart and a gentle soul. For, you see, he looked out for me, as well, while my husband was so gravely ill. He is truly one in a million. And I have dealt with many doctors, having been a felony prosecutor and having direct and cross-examined medical professionals for over 25 years. Dr. Fakhrai's credentials are impeccable, having trained in the best medical facilities in… this country. My husband, at the moment he needed help, was fortunate that Dr. Fakhrai walked in the room and took his case.
