There is literally no one better with endocrinology in this state. Dr. Poorkay is absolutely amazing with his patient care, bedside manner, and knowledge of disease processes and co-morbidity management. I worked with Dr. Poorkay in ICU when I was a nurse and his ability to see outside the box simply blew me away. I have been going to Dr. Poorkay for years now and have never regretted my decision to make the change. He is very attentive to my needs and always listens to the changes in my health to make corrections to my pump. I know that I am living a much better life now than before because of the treatment plan he has prescribed for me. The staff is very helpful and supportive which if very necessary. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to him for care.
