Dr. Mehmet Erk, MD

19 years ago, this Saturday, Dr. Memhet delivered my first child. After 21 hours of induced labor she was born via emergency C-section. Dr. Erk honored my desire for a vaginal birth yet told me when we had to perform the C-section for the safety of my child. He saved my baby’s life plain and simple. Throughout my pregnancy, he provided exceptional care. If I had concern or spotting, his evaluation included in-depth discussion, and/or additional testing to ensure my baby was not in any danger. I would come in for my prenatal appts with a plethora of questions on several sheets of paper. Each and EVERY time, he would treat me as if I were his only patient. Never was I rushed through the examination room. Whether it took 5 minutes or 45 minutes to address each one he would do so in a compassionate, patient, informative, detailed manner. The wait in the reception/waiting room can be lengthy so don’t schedule your appt too closely to your next commitment. He, his wife (same practice, MD),… and entire staff are the epitome of everything knowledgeable, empathic and professional. Well worth the wait! My second child was born premature and was the product of six inseminations and the fourth In Vitro attempt. Prior to getting and staying pregnant, Dr. Memhet provided initial infertility treatment (Rx’s & inseminations) before referring me to specialists with whom he worked hand in hand until I finally conceived. My pregnancy included 3+ months of complete bedrest...always erring on the side of extreme caution. He gently informed me that C-Section was required when I went into premature labor. Again, life saving. Life changing. Since then I have continued to be treated for my endometriosis, had a tubal, uterine ablation, hormone replacement therapy and complete hysterectomy. I would NEVER go elsewhere. He treated my teen, due to severe bleeding, for years. She is now an adult patient of his. It takes longer to get an appointment with him so just schedule ahead. The office is fantastic getting you in immediately with any of the fine providers. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is a husband, father, physician. He is a man full of integrity and character having not only exceptional medical expertise but a wonderful bedside manner. Thank you Dr. Memhet for decades of putting my mind and heart at ease while taking care of my children and me.

I called the desk person was wonderful! very understanding! The girl who took me to the waiting room did not give me a gown just told me to wait for the doctor. I have had 6 children when you call for a female problem they should know you need an examine why would I still have my clothes on when the doctor comes in? The doctor was great very understanding told me the situation explained what has to be done spent time with me and told me to call anytime with concerns! The office people were great!

I have Dr mehmet.. And he is by most the best Dr I have yet had.. I'm currently pregnant with baby 5 and I wish I had him with the other 4... he makes sure he listens and answers ALL your questions, and don't rush you at all. . But there is a staff member that is very rude and ignorant that shouldn't be there.. overall I give him 1099997 it stars

I have been with Mehmet Erk for approximately 10 years and have been EXTREMELY impressed with Dr. Erk, and his professionalism and expertise. He is EXTREMELY comforting as I have had several surgeries by him. His bed side manner is fabulous. The only thing I would say that I am not always pleased with is his office staff. They are not very welcoming and do not seem to have any professionalism or empathy. ...... Otherwise, the Doctors are wonderful.

I love seeing Dr.Susan Erk. She is so sweet. I had to see her husband, Mehmet a few times. He was very difficult to inderstand and was not the friendliest. There's a sign in the waiting room to mention if you have been waiting for 20 minutes. Nobody cares, I've waited up to an hour and beyond. Family members also have had the same experience. Plan on being at the office for over a hour... If you are lucky Itl just be a hour long.

I have been with the Erks for many years they delivered all my children. They are the nicest Dr's and they really do care. FANTASTIC!

Doctor seems to genuinely care. He does NOT rush you at all with your concerns and/or questions. I recently had surgery and am impressed with him through all aspects of patient care so far. I had to call his office to ask a question thinking a nurse would call me back "sometime" and was suprised when 15 minutes later Dr. Erk himself called me back. I was suprised. I would recommend him to friends/family. Also the staff was smiling and helpful.

He's absolutely fantastic! I'm so comfortable with him, can tell him anything, I'm relaxed and I trust him completely. He's done 3 surgeries on me and he's been my OB/GYN for many years. I couldn't imagine going to anyone else. I've referred him to many women who have subsequently shared my same opinions of him... They love him! The office is clean, modern and the staff is professional and caring. I would recommend him to anyone with a simple need to complex issues requiring a specialist. He's very up to date with new techniques and seems to continue with his education and "newer" needs of women. Absolutely a great doctor!
