Dr. Mehrdad Forghani Arani, DO

This "Doctor" deserves NEGATIVE stars. I could have lost my life due to his lack of "care" and education. I came to him with ultrasound results showing I had very serious reproductive issues that needed immediate action. He refused to even glance at the ultrasound results and instead asked why I was in his office. He then proceeeded to tell me that I had to do a mandatory "vaginal inspection" before he would even listen to my symptoms(response to his question why I was in HIS office) I was shocked, but complied under the impression he would help. Even though I explained I had to have a full vaginal exam, pap smear, blood testing and imaging to obtain the referral to him. After the "mandatory inspection" he refused to let me voice my symptoms, cutting me off and telling me I was "making it up" and "sick in the head" while still refusing to read the very serious ultrasound paperwork or view the CD copy. He simply said "you need to leave. I do not want to see you for 10… months. make an appointment for 10 months from now" 10 MONTHS?! Before I left, I pleaded one last time for help with my cyst, endometriosis, tumors, and cancerous uterine cells to which he sated "in ALL my years, Ive never heard of that" You dont know about cancer? what primitive 1800's textbooks did you learn from? I sat there traumatized as He and his nurses LAUGHED and told me I was making it up and needed to leave... no refferal to a specialist, no help what so ever. Just because I wasnt an expectant mother getting a quick sonogram like 98% of his patients, he treated me like I was less than the dirt on the office floor. I wonder how many other suffering women he has degraded and refused medical care to. I wonder how many women have lost the ability to have children and possibly their lives at the hand of this monster. Please do your research before you trust this man and his nurses with your life. I will not remove this HONEST AND TRUTHFUL review. I can tell you the exact date, time, and duration of my visit, the GRIEVANCE CASE NUMBER FILED AGAINST YOU. the names of the nurses, the name of the lab nurse, the floor #, office #, entire description of the room i was in and more details. As expected, you point the finger at me and deny your actions. as youve done with other patients. instead of taking responsibility and fixing your mistakes. the fact that you are telling me to remove an honest review and lying about me being a patient there only proves mine and other reviewers points. you are beyond unprofessional. This office should be investigated and shut down.

I met doctor forehand in 2012 when I was pregnant with daughter #3 he is a great ob/gyn I was extremely satisfied with how I was treated, I'm extremely grateful for the the delivery of my daughter in 2013, I ended pregnant again with baby #4 and my last which doctor forghani also delivered my son in 2014. I would recommend him to all my family and friends. He is a great doctor

Words cannot describe my gratitude towards Dr. Forghani. He's been the only obgyn I've had and will always have. He has such a great attitude, personality, very patient, understanding, and caring. The staff is super friendly as well. I would reccomend him to everyone.

Dr. Forghani is a great doctor. I had a great experience and Im positive that if I ever decide to have another child I will definately go back to him. I would definately recommend him to anyone in the garden grove/ santa ana area.

He is the best Obgyn I have had ! I have 2 kids and my 3rd on the way and I refuse to see or have anyone else deliver me( and Ive seen 2 others).I was really iffy on having a male obgyn let alone a middle eastern dr. but he is just the greatest.He is very well educated,speaks perfect english,very personable and my husband and I just love him! The best thing of all is he has everything in his office..Lab,machine for sonograms,gluclose test he does it all right there in his office.

Very understanding, cares a lot of petiants and has a great staff!
