Dr. Mehrnoosh Almassi, MD

Dr. Almassi and her entire staff are absolutely amazing. They were professional, accommodating, and extremely patient with my medical needs, requests for appointments and an emergency procedure. I’ve seen other reviews where several others complained of the doctor running late. First I’d like to say that this often happens, and it is not uncommon In any doctors office. We have all had to be patient as we wait because there are others being serviced and a lot of the times they are with patients that need additional time, additional support or are handling an emergency...you know, like delivering a baby. In saying this, I was seen on time, she took her time with me, and she accommodated my need for an emergency procedure the very next day. I am so grateful that I chose her as my Dr. even after I’ve read the inaccurate and unappreciative reviews about her and her staff. Dr. Almassi, Danielle and the rest of the staff… You are simply amazing and your kindness is very much appreciated. Rise… above the inpatient ones, reviews like those tell me more about those people than it does about your practice.

I do not honestly know how she's getting such great reviews. She is an AWFUL doctor!! Every appointment I had with her I was waiting at least an hour to be seen, only for her to be in there for 5-10 minutes max. She's utterly rude, I've voiced concerns about pain and she just says "Oh that's normal." or "Oh these things happen." with no solutions to the problem! The last 2 appointments she's cancelled as I'm SITTING IN THE WAITING ROOM because she had a patient in labor. They really need to get another OBGYN in that office to help with the patients, maybe rotate doctors when they get super busy because it's ridiculous. I will never go back to her.

Rude and incompetent staff, unnecessary (and expensive) labs ordered, ridiculously long wait times. Horrible.

I like Dr. Almassi a lot. She takes her time, she answers my questions thoroughly, cares about my concerns, and is very professional. I also like the Dr. Banskiter(sp?) and the nurse practitioner,Elizabeth, is wonderful!However, my average wait time is more than 30 minutes, and I've waited more than an hour before. Every time I call, I'm put on hold for at least 5 minutes,up to 12. On the sign in sheet, I've seen up to five appointments scheduled for the same doctor, within 5 minutes of each other. All in all, Dr. Almassi is wonderful, but the desk staff needs work.

I dont agree with the comments here..I had a terrible experience and therefore had to switch. it doesnt matter how friendly she is, you have to always wait more than 1 hour, they are NEVER on time. Also most of my appointments were cancelled because she run into something else then I was struggling to fit something on my schedule, they are NOT serious and they dont care..I would not recommend her

I really like her. I started seeing her since the time I conceived my baby. She spent enough time with me during each visit and answered all my qns (however silly it was) very very patiently. Her office ambience is very good and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend her to all my friends.

The worst experience!!!! Find another doctor! Every time you go there you wait at least 1 hour to see your doctor, or you dont even see her at all because they send you to midwife. I found a new doctor that I started to love going to my appointments. I was waiting for 6 mnths. and always thought its me, no its a doctors office that is terrible. Tshe worst experience seing doctor Almassi.

She is extremely thorough and very sweet. She really takes the time at each appt to listen and I never felt rushed out of the exam room like some doctors make you feel as though they need to move on to the next patient. She makes you feel as though you are her only concern. If there is a problem, she will get you right in to check you out. She delivered my two little girls and she made me feel safe and comfortable with her calm demenor. I absolutely love her and highly recommend her to any woman looking for a OBGYN.
