Dr. Mehul Jagdish Desai, MD

He seems like a bright guy, but as far as helping me, the patient? He was lost, and promised multiple times to follow up with recommendations for people who could help. He never did this. Sadly he seems genuine but his work ethic and empathy is pretty lacking.

I consulted with Dr. Desai for recurring severe hip pain that extended into my legs. On my first visit I classified my pain level to be a 10. After following his advice, my pain level diminished to a "3" a mere 24 hours later, and by the next day, I had no pain at all. Although the root of the problem will require more imaging and physical therapy to restore my lifestyle to the optimal level I desire, I can now function without pain during the process. Not only is Dr. Desai himself a competent physician (with a relaxed and caring bedside manner), his support team likewise goes to great lengths to accommodate appointments and to assist with imaging appointments when asked. This is a first-rate (five-star) practice.

So far so good. He gave me a shot that has actually relieved my pain. Twelve previous shots from other doctors did nothing. He has given me back my life. We will see if it lasts.

Highly recommend Dr Desai who is very skilled in pain management procedures for (in my case) back and leg pain. He and his staff are very responsive and are concerned about your progress.

I've been with Dr. Desai for 8 yrs and 3 practices. He literally saved me from a life of physical debilitating pain.

Dr. Desai is one of the best doctors I've ever been too! He has a great bed side manor, something that is hard to find in most doctors. He takes time to get to know his patients and also seem very knowledgeable about their conditions. I would 100% recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Desai scheduled me for 3 session but only treated me partially and was not comitted to his service. I have to really hunt him to get my prescription refilled. I had a horrible experience with dr Desai. I wouldn't recommend him to my family n friends

Took a while to get an appt but well worth the wait.

Dr. Desai is super professional but yet easy to talk to as well. He reall seems like he cares. He seems willing to do whatever it takes to "fix" your problem if he can, or at least MANAGE the symptoms. It can take a while to get an appointment, and the wait once you're there can be long, but it's all worth it when he's in with you, because he never makes you feel rushed, I never feel like he's not paying attention because he's thinking about how behind he is, and etc. He simply takes as long as he needs with each patient, and I'd wait hours to get that kind of service. Overall, great find for a pain doctor.

I have had chronic back pain for 3 years, and have been thrilled with Dr. Desai. Previously I had been under the care of an orthopedist, and as soon as I came to Dr. Desai, he got my medications right so that my quality of life is better, and we're trying procedures to try to get this gone for real. I have lots of hope that together we'll figure it out. He is extremely caring and easy to talk to.
