Dr. Mehul Pravin Soni, MD

Contrary to some of the reviews posted, I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Soni. I had an infected cyst on my chest and was referred by my internist. He was very kind, caring and informative. Took care of the problem within a week with very little discomfort and fortunately no problems. Aftercare went smoothly and he demonstrated patience and concern with any question I had. Too bad he is not in general practice. He is the kind of doctor you would want.

Had a lip biopsy in 2016. He was not a a real friendly person. Hit my tooth with the laser 2x then just said oops! Not really what you want to hear out of a surgeons mouth! Biopsy went to mayo, he refused to reveal results. Bruised all the way down my neck, 3 and a half years later, no feeling in that portion of my lower lip. Apparently he damaged a nerve. Beware, stay clear if him!!

Horrible experience, rude biopsied wrong stea

I was in the hospital for a week with a ruptured cyst in my leg. Dr soni was given the task of performing the surgery to gain access to the infection within my leg which consisted of administering anesthetic to the affected area plunging into my leg 2 inches deep. Two times that he performed the surgery he didnt wait for the anesthesia to take effect which resulted in a terribly painful experience in which he showed no remorse. As people have said in above reviews he shows zero interest in the patient and anything they have to say. He literally did not say a word the entire time he performed the 3 seperate surgeries on my leg. He left 2 times during surgery to answer phone calls and on top of it none of the nurses were happy to work with him. He treated all of them like garbage

He was very rude and started the conversation in an argumentative tone. He did not look over any imaging or records.

The initial consultation with the doctor was fine. The biopsy went smoothly. When I went back for the last visit, asked him to explain my test results, which were on a second pathology testing at mayo and not back, but first report was, he wouldn't give me ANY INFORMATION! Wish I never had this procedure done, almost 2 weeks later, still symptomatic and no answers!

Very kind explained everything thoughly. Answered all my questions in detail. I needed a biposy and they did the procedure that same day which sped up the whole process. I will refer and recommend Dr Soni . His staff is awesome and caring.

always seemed like he wanted to leave. It was also irritating to sit around each time his wife called. I would just wait as he proved whom his first priority was. Thank god she did not call while I was being operated onI wont go back
