Dr. Melvin Mei Hu, MD

My name is Gina Palmer and I've been a patient of Dr. Hu for 17yrs. I have always been treated kindly and he always has known what to do for my back pain. He's AWESOME with trigger point injections and with the other types of injections I recommend him to anyone and everyone with chronic pain.

Dr. Hu is amazing. He is extremely thorough in his exams and treatment, and he is very patient in helping you understand what's happening and what treatment will be performed. He has also been a tremendous resource in helping me navigate the nightmare that is insurance. Without him, I would still be on a cane. I also have to express my gratitude to the two front office staff, Natalie and Brooke! Thank you all.

I could barely understand him due to his accent and the mask. He never introduced himself. I was ushered into an exam room and he sat down at his computer and never looked at me. Even when he asked questions, he never looked at me. He was typing notes on his laptop for a long time. Never explained what he thought I had. Just told me to come back for a shot. He would not prescribe any pain meds...just muscle relaxers. When he was done, he just walked out of the room without saying anything. Terrible experience.

Dr. Hu is very knowledgeable and always attentive. I have been a patient of his for over ten years and highly recommend him. The staff is amazing!

Dr. Hu is a wonderful doctor. He examines you and determines where your pain is and then is able to treat it. He does give some pain medicines, but is conservative as he does not want anyone to use more medication that they absolutely need. He spends a great deal of time with each patient to make sure we understand what is going on and what the procedure will be to help us overcome our pain.
