I have been a patient for about 8 years now, she is very professional & listens to assist. I have always felt like she really cares about my health. She will be my GYN until the end of time. Thanks Dr. Dunn!!!

I told Dr. Dunn that I needed to be on a specific brand of birth control and explained what happened when I was switched to a "generic form" of that brand (bad side effects) and she still sent in a prescription for the wrong birth control pill! The nurse was not interested in sending the prescription to be filled, but instead wanted to give me a handwritten note to do it myself. I have not had to provide a hand-written prescription in years. Did not feel heard or taken care of. I am honestly shocked at the positive reviews she has online.

Title says it all, It would be great if she found a new practice as Tennessee Women's care is holding her back as far as being someone rated as a must see. We have been trying to get a refund for OB services covered by insurance for months, the only way you are going to get your money back is a lawyer.

We made a deposit and have not been able to get a refund after insurance covered the birth of our second child, beware being forced into making deposits with them.

Been a patient of hers for 15 years. She got me through 2 complicated pregnancies & she’s the only one I trust with my 3rd & final pregnancy. She truly cares & I’m so glad my primary doctor referred me to her all those years ago saying she was the most knowledgeable.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dunn's since about 2007. Back around 2008, I was having symptoms consistent with Endometriosis. Dr. Dunn put me on birth control to see if it would help, and it did. For a few years. This summer, I began having problems again and many symptoms (bladder and bowel as well) consistent with Endometriosis â?? in addition to the fact that my mother had surgery for Endometriosis at age 32. I am 38. I wentand paid a $50 co-pay for a specialist appointment for Dr. Dunn in June. I explained all my symptoms and that I believed the Endometriosis was flaring up and that since medication was no longer helping, I might like to proceed with laparoscopic surgery. She quickly dismissed me, saying that none of my symptoms added up to Endo, that it sounded like IBS and I should see a gastro. When I persisted that I wanted to know once and for all if I was dealing with Endometriosis and that I was hoping to have the surgery done, she finally said I could book a… surgery with her. So, after dismissing my concerns, my symptoms and telling me I most certainly did not have Endometriosis, she offered to perform surgery on me just to appease me? I certainly did not trust her at this point to perform my surgery, so I left. I researched online until I found an Endometriosis specialist. I was put on a wait list. At my consult with him, he validated that every one of my symptoms was consistent with Endo, and he was disappointed that my own gynecologist had not only failed to diagnose correctly, but that she had so quickly dismissed me. He performed surgery in November. He found Endometriosis adhering my organs together and causing my appendix to swell. He had to remove my appendix and excise all the Endometriosis. He also found that the Endometriosis had caused Interstitial Cystitis, for which I am now stuck with for life. I begin bladder instillations to help that problem next week. This would be the bladder issues I presented to Dr. Dunn and which she carelessly dismissed as not being related, and for which she offered no help. Perhaps if something had been done when I first approached Dr. Dunn for help, I would not be living with this permanent bladder disease now. Also, not surprisingly, since my surgery, I am no longer having any IBS symptoms. All pain and issues related to the Endo have been resolved, save for the IC. I saw Dr. Dunn in June, and I continued to suffer for five long months until I could get help from a specialist who cared enough to get to the root of my problems. My new doctor has given me my life back and has validated every concern I had. On the other hand, Dr. Dunn dismissed me like I was a hypochondriac and did not a thing for me, except offer to do surgery to appease a patient who demanded better care. It is appalling to me that as a gynecologist, Dr. Dunn is either not educated enough about Endometriosis to fully understand its symptoms and factors, or is so apathetic that she does not care to help her patient. I will gladly be traveling the 4 hour round trip to see a doctor who is competent and caring. Tennessee Womens Care has lost my trust and my business. I just hope this is addressed in all seriousness so that other patients do not continue to suffer.

Dr. Dunn is absolutely amazing. I love her! I cannot imagine anyone else delivering my babies. She is sweet, personable, honest, and she tells you like it is! She will always be my favorite doctor!
