Dr. Melanie Frank, DO

Had her for 2 years, very sad she's leaving selden office.

Dr. Frank is too cold. She rarely looks up from her laptop and will not look me in the eye. She addresses me as sir and not by name. My visits seemed rushed and she comes in without checking my chart or background. I was unable to form a feeling of trust with her as a primary.

I’ve been seeing Dr Frank for a long time but never felt that she’s has any interest in her patients. She’s always in a hurry and always give you testes to do. She doesn’t fine the time to sit and talk to her patients about anything. I moved to any doctor who is extremely concerned and would take time with me.

Dr. Melanie Frank is by far the rudest doctor I have ever encountered. She never makes eye contact and stares at the computer during the office visit. Extremely condescending and will not renew any medications without sending you off for tests you already had done. NEVER seeing her again!! I wish I could give a zero rating because that's what she deserves.

they tell you that you need tests and that the insurance company will cover it knowing it will not be covered. they bill for things they know are not needed. then they send you bills without documenting the payments being credited. if you make a settlement agreement they do not honor it. RUN!!!! THERE ARE FAR BETTER DOCTORS IN THE AREA. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR BEFORE YOU REGRET IT---DO NOT USE THEM.

I went to Dr Frank to get approval for my surgery . I came in with all the preop tests done and all she had to do was sign off on them. She made me retake every test!! She said the EKG was blurry . I aked another dr in the pffice of it was blurry he said not at all! She shouldnt be a dr. She is cold as ICE and only cares about making money. Btw I was charged for the unnecessary retests! I refuse to pay for them.

I had Dr. Melanie as a primary doctor and I was very nice surprised by how many tests she run for me. I didn't realize at this time that it was only about money. After a while I was sick, very bad cough and I was sent for an X Ray. I was waiting almost 2 weeks for somebody to call me with the test results, nobody called. If I have had pneumonia I could be dead by then, without medicine.. When I went there I was told to make an appointment in order to have the results. Asking for all test results to be able to change the doctor, they ask me to fill out a form and to wait until the doctor will sign the form. I change the doctor and, surprise, even I had 2 insurances they charged, after a month they started sending me a lot of bills, that I have to pay do not make bad credit.

The practice commits insurance fraud- plain and simple. They performed unnecessary tests that they knew my insurance would not cover but told us they would be covered. When they performed duplicate unnecessary blood tests, dr frank said she would fix it. After they ran the tests and billed me, Dr Frank said "oh well" RUN

I had iron overload in Nov 18, she did not see it or did not talk about it and then again in Feb 19. When I went to Cardiologist, she saw the report and suggested me to consult a hematologist- now I have been going through the prognosis of the blood iron overload. Having advised 4 months earlier I could start my treatment even earlier

There is something very suspicious going on at Dr. Frank's office (AKA Medical Associates). They consistently try to get you to have a "face to face" with the doctor over things as simple as signing a form, just so they can bill your insurance company for a visit. It got so bad, I even reported them to my insurance company's fraud department- and they agreed that something wasn't right. Stay away from this office, they care more about money and shady claims than they do about your health.
