Dr. Melanie Kishner Greifer, MD

The worst doctor I’ve ever had the displeasure of seeing. Made my child cry because he did not want a rectal exam, nor was it necessary. No bedside manners at all, and she falsely diagnosed him. You do not bully a 7 year old boy, especially when he’s sick. If you love your child, do not let her lay a hand on them. I highly recommend finding any other doctor besides Melanie Greifer.

Melanie Griefer should not be working with sick children and their families. She practically yelled at my family the entire appointment, and no sick child should be treated like that. She is one of the most entitled doctors I’ve ever met, and expects to be able to do procedures on you or undress you without asking first. She’s currently teaching a fellow, but shouldn’t be allowed to teach anyone. She is a horrible doctor teaching others to lack bedside manners too. If you want the bare minimum of a respectful doctor, AVOID HER! She is incapable of doing even that.

This is one of the worst, meanest providers I've ever met. My child was in tears mid-visit. There are so many wonderful pediatric gastros - steer clear of this one!

She was great and explained everything about our child's GI issues. We had a ton of questions and she was reassuring and listened to our long list of concerns. She answered every one and then gave us a list of things to expect.

Dr. Greifer is an amazing doctor! She has a great bedside manner and always listens to everything I have to say regarding my child. She is thoughtful in her suggestions and has never misguided us in the care of our son. I highly recommend her both for her genuine and caring nature in addition to her wealth of medical knowledge.

Our visit to Dr. Greifer was excellent and we left feeling much better and with a plan that has worked to help our child! She spent a lot of time explaining the diagnosis and how we would and could move forward. Life changer!

Dr. Melanie Greifer performed an endoscopy on my 5 year old little boy. She explained how the esophagus looked great. Three years later I found out there was a biopsy performed during endoscopy and there was a medical diagnosis that I was never informed about and she never called me providing me information when biopsy results came in. There is a record of no one contacting me. I wasn't even aware we were waiting on biopsy results. There was never a follow up. My son is eight now. Living three years with a diagnosis we were never aware of. I was not impressed with her when I met with her and I'm astounded by her malpractice.
