Dr. Melanie Elizabeth Griem, MD

Easy to make an appointment; skilled; personable; and never made me me feel I was being rushed.

She was friendly and explained everything very well to my geriatric father.

I would not recommend her to anyone. To sum up my experience is that she didn't help me with any of my skin concerns. She wasn't personable at all. Actually made me feel like I was bothering her for taking up her time. Also, she didn't even examine my skin to see what the problem might be. Simply glanced at it from about 2 feet away and hands me a prescription for creams. She doesn't explain anything about them either. Horrible!

I spoke to the receptionist and told her I have a rash and would like to see a dermatologist. I was told I would be seeing dr. Griem. I even told her if she's not as good that I would wait to see dr. Bresake. I was told that she was good so I kept my appointment. I get there and everything was fine until the"doctor" walked into the room didn't say who she was and started to Argue with me that I can't get anything from animals. I work at a vets office and I know that there are so things you can get and some you can't. She didn't even look at my face much. I didn't get any answers. I then go up front to pay and was handed a card for my recheck appointment and noticed I didn't see the doctor I was told I was going to be seeing. Upchurch isn't a dermatologist she is an Assistant. When I called to complain I was told that's because the other doctors aren't seeing new clients. I was also told that I can't get my money back or see one of the doctors. I will never be back and would never… recommend anyone to go.

She took the time to explain things and took care of the problem right then and there and even called me personally with results and made sure i understood. She is wonderful.
