Dr. Melanie Carol Harris, MD

Staff is incompetent and Dr Harris is not respectful of her patients time. We brought our new bourn in for what was supposed to be a quick weight check. The front desk told us we didn’t have an appointment even though my wife scheduled with another staff member. After trying to find out what happened they concluded the staff member who made the appointment failed to make a record of it as she went home sick. Dr Harris refused to see us and wanted us to come back the following day for an appointment that should have only took ten minutes. After making us wait in the office while they figured out the issue, we’re trying to keep out two year old busy, finally a nurse offered to weigh our daughter after we where already there for thirty minutes. Passed Dr Harris in the office, she apparently was to important to offer any apology or even say hello. We won’t return, she doesn’t care for her patients or bother to take ownership for a poorly managed office.

I brought my son Patrick in to Dr. Harris as I could not get him into his regular Ped in Valpo. Little did I know that she was so amazing and was so thorough in the exam and with the follow up. So grateful we found Dr. Harris! She is now my son's Patrick's primary doc!!

I've been taking my son to her since he was born. she is so friendly, kind hearted, patient. Very good pediatrician. I do recommend. My son is so use to her now.
