Dr. Melanie Clare Murn

Dr Murn forced me to have a vaginal birth after a previous c-section. Her poor judgement resulted in lifelong injuries to my daughter. I should have pursued this legally.

Dr. Murn is well loved by most of her patients and held in high esteem by her peers. Every Obstetrician has a rare baby that has neurologic problems which are a tragedy to the family and the physician. With the help of a Pediatric Neurologist it is sometimes possible to determine the cause of the problem and to determine the best chance for a positive outcome.

My almost 19 year old daughter has had trouble from her tramatic birth--has needed occupational therapy, vision therapy, has difficulty in friend relationships because of sensory integration problems. Dr. Murn put her hands in her pockets and said, "Nope, you're going to do it yourself" when I begged her to help get my baby out. thankfully I was as strong as I was and pushed her out before she died or became a cerebral palsy. Her arm was stuck up by her head. The nurse was angry and said "she could have gone either way." (died) The baby was blue for both poor apgars and Dr. Murn put nothing in the hospital records except that it was a routine, normal birth--HA! We have spent almost 19 years with a not-quite normal child who needed special expensive schooling and will never have the normal life she could have if Dr. Murn had helped get her out quickly. She was let go of that clinic shortly afterwards for reasons I do not know but can surely guess. Don't have this arogant lady… birth your baby!
