Dr. Melanie Hendricks Pagette, MD

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Pagette and her staff. My old OBGYN retired and a coworker referred me to Dr. Pagette. She was so gentle and compassionate. I ended up needing ultrasounds,biopsies and eventually surgery. Dr. Pagette was so patient with me and explained every procedure and results in detail. She used the Davinci robot for my hysterectomy and its truly amazing the recovery time! Ladies you will love her! I call her my hero!

Well this goes to show that reviews are often a good indicator on business practices especially when you see a pattern. One thing that is mentioned in a lot of the reviews on this place is their main focus on money and not the patient. I had moved here from out of state and needed a new ob. I read the reviews which there were some good ones on the doctor but the office practice not so much. I brought this up in one of my first exams and got the impression it was over reactions on some people part and that she does not read these reviews. Well I have started seeing a pattern and today I am looking for an OB again. It was recommended I have a procedure one version less evasive then the hysterectomy was mentioned but the hysterectomy was encouraged more. My husband and I had some addritional questions on the recovery time which I was only allowed to speak to the nurse never the doctor. Finally I insisted on speaking with the doctor and requested a phone call (things were getting … misinterpreted with the nurse). The doctor refused to call and said I needed to come in so we scheduled an appointment. Today I went in with my husband. Really all I wanted to know was the recovery time and when I could return to my job questions which could have been answered rather quickly on the phone. The office staff informed me it was a $30 copay since it was an office visit. They even went back and spoke to someone (assuming it’s the doctor) and said it would be $30. I had already started feeling uncomfortable about her doing this surgery the more games that were being played and this was the straw that broke the camels back. I explained that I would be going somewhere else to have the surgery done if this is the case. One of the other staff members called the doctor to let her know that I was leaving and her lack of coming up made it clear her position which was she doesn’t care about the patients it is all about the money

Last week I had a full hysterectomy due to some complications that I was having. Dr. Pagette is a very caring and thorough physician. It is so GREAT to have a doctor not rush you out of the office. Dr. Pagette was very informative and answered all of my questions. She has lots of experience in this field. The staff and nurses are also great. I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Pagette and her staff. I highly recommend Dr. Melanie Pagette.

DR Pagette is everything you would ever want in a DR. Everything about my surgery was explained to me, before and after, she even called me after hours when she got the results because she knew I was concerned. The nurses in her office are also great. If you are looking for a DR I would absolutely recommend DR Pagette.

This was, without question, the WORST experience I haver ever had at the female dr. I was literally there over 2 hours for my annual exam. She ran over an hour late, left me sitting in a tiny room with fluorescant lighting and white walls for another 30 minutes before deciding to show up, and then spent another 15 trying to force me to buy an expensive injection for the HPV virus, even after I told her I was not sexually active and 40 years old (15 years past the age the RDA recommends those). She was rough during the exam and had a young 20 year old girl down there with her which made me very uncomortable. I seriously felt violated and victimized after I left. Shame on her for taking advantage of a woman's vulnerablitiy when naked to try and sell something she is obviously making huge kickbacks on. :(

This was my first visit to Dr. Pagette as I am new to the area and am starting over with all new Dr.'s. Dr. Pagette is what a Dr. should be. She made me feel very comfortable as we chatted. She told me what she was going to do every step of the exam. I didn't feel rushed and she answered all my questions. I highly recommend her.

We have been a patient of Dr Pagette for several years now. After having issues getting medical records I am learning her medical Staff as not been sending in bills to the insurance as well as the insurance Company having a hard time to get medical records. I also called countless times to come in to the office but was always directed to the ER. Sorry Dr Pagette but a Huge thumbs down to you and your Staff .

Dr. Pagetts staff is very friendly. I never had any trouble getting in. It's quiet and the docter herself is really nice & lstens to you and your concerns. It's been a while since I'v gone & need a follow up & am ready to schedule my appt for this year.

I waited over an hour one day to get my birth control shot. Dr. Pagette is great but her staff did not leave a great impression.
