If I could leave ZERO STARS for this person I would. Melanie Ramsey was my rheumatologist for a while... I had mentioned in an office visit with her that I was moving to another state about 6 months before it happened. I was being proactive with this discussion so that I wouldn't lose access to my prescription arthritis medications that keep me from being bedridden (my WORST FEAR!). In that visit she assured me that she would see me through until I could get another Rheumatologist lined up in my new state of residence which does NOT HAPPEN OVERNIGHT. NOT SO! She promptly DROPPED ME and left me HIGH and DRY once I left the state which is what I was trying to avoid by communicating with her very early in our moving process. I had even done my bloodwork a couple weeks before I left so I was CURRENT on that. I cannot tell you how DISAPPOINTED I AM in her lack of professionalism and care for my situation. I DESPERATELY NEED the medication she prescribes in order to FUNCTION on a daily… basis, without it I will become BEDRIDDEN in a short amount of time which is a very SCARY thing for being only 55 years old, I'm TERRIFIED at the future outlook without it. She is HEARTLESS and DOES NOT CARE for her patients after they leave her office. SO DISGUSTED and UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED IN HER LACK OF COMPASSION for my situation! AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS!!!
