Dr. Melinda Alison Brown, MD

Dr Brown looked at comparison xrays of my neck, taken two years apart. She was able to tell what symptoms I was having in five minutes on the first visit. I was impressed by and appreciative of this expertise. She requested acupuncture treatment for me and received approval for it in the two week response time allotted for Workers' Comp requests. I am hopeful about the outcome of my treatment with her.

Had Dr. Brown managing my care for last 4 or 5 years. Started out ok. No real cudos or complaints. When she moved to Wren ave. office,couldn't get appointment. Took 3 or 4 months. Told office staff I was in severe pain. They told me to go to emergency room. Now you can get appointment but not with Dr. Brown. I had an appointment with her but was told an "assistant" would be taking her place? Not sure what medical qualifications assistant has? First impression not good. Not happy at all.

claims she is a specialist in pain management, however has no credentials or certifications.

I found Dr Brown when I needed someone closer to my home. From day one she was very thorough, made me feel very comfortable. She is knowledgable and explains things so I understand them. Narrows down and reviews options well. I would recommend her to anyone with pain issues of any kind. She has helped me stay away from narcotic pain relief when I live in cronic pain and many other issues.
