Dr. Melinda Louise Ferguson, MD

Always listens and is never in a rush. I feel very welcome in her office and feel like my concerns are validated and addressed immediately.

I went to Dr. Ferguson for post menopausal pain. I was told, during a ten minute visit, that I would be dead if it were cancer. Was charged $160. I then started bleeding. I went back. She did a ultasound and told me not to worry unless it turned red. Charged me $310. It turned red. I went back. She did a biopsy that did not get enough tissue to test. I was charged $410. She was very non chalant about my health. She said she would do a D&C. I called the office to ask how much this would be and to ask what kind of anesthesia would be used and if she would be using a camera while doing this. The office never called me back. This was a total waste of my hard working money and my time. I have since gone to a doctor in Richmond who, by the way, charges less????

I really like this doctor but it seems she has left the Women's Center in Fishersville, VA and no one will tell me where she went and if she is still practicing. Any idea if she is still in practice?
