Dr. Melinda Sue Mann, MD

Avoid this doctor! She is racist and untrustworthy. Never in my life have I had a doctor ask me if I'm Muslim prior to seeing me. That alone should have been a warning. That question made me look her up on yelp & that was clearly what I should have done from the beginning! I'm so lucky I canceled the visit. The reviews on yelp were terrifying. She is incompetent to say the least.

We agree with above commenter. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR if you have dignity, care about ethics in a doctor and about your quality of life; especially but not excluded to any future medical need that one may have Gd forbid as may develop in different women upon later years. Although we THANKFULLY visited this HORRIBLE excuse of a person, much less a doctor, only once; the entire experience and behavior which followed, left us not only heartache and pain, not receiving any response or attention, but also to having to contact the Bais Din (Jewish court) to get a reaction from this unethical doctor; who may think she is religious, but doesn’t know the meaning of the word. This is a great Chilul H’S to Jews in particular! After the terrible experience in her office, when I considered leaving before examination (I wish I had,) when she was too quick in beginning the pelvic important testing that I needed because of emergency bleeding; so it was TOO LATE to do so.. I only heard from… her a week later. She had my biopsy results for almost that long, but didn’t call me. When she finally did 8 pm at night, she simply blurted out that I had cancer and needed an operation, without feeling OR allowing for information or simply to ask her a question; I tried, she ignored me and immediately as though bothered, stated under her breath that she would TEXT ME a surgeon’s number and HUNG UP! (She never did.) In pain and with NO more information, I tried repeatedly to reach her but was blatantly ignored! Please know that this is NOT a special circumstance. A doctor has a legal and ethical obligation to talk to a patient, EVEN if and until a patient may decide to go to a new doctor; not to mention a Torah obligation. This doctor, who ABOVE is watching carefully and keeping her bad behavior on RECORD will be punished BIG. In the meantime (as she ignored the informing of the Bais Din,) I contacted the State Board of Physician Misconduct, and am quite possibly taking legal action. The insurance also filed report. Do not let such unaccountable behavior go unreported. If people didn’t let such evil authority abusing professionals get away with it, others like myself, would not have had to needlessly suffer. G-d gives us a brain to put people in check, who should be CARING, with Ahavas Yisroel. Doctors who don’t care about people and treat them so inhumanely, do not deserve to go unaddressed, and are only in it FOR THEMSELVES. (Money, attention, etc.) What else?! To inform others about them is an obligation, NOT L’H (NOT sinful.)

I have been a patient over many years and found Dr. Mann dedicated and a truly a superior doctor in so many ways. She remains a blessing in my experience.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN THE WORLD, DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR, WHEN I WAS OPEN 10 SHE SAID SHES LEAVING TO TAKE A NAP AND ALL THE NURSES LEFT WITH HER WHILE THE BABY WAS COMING OUT. PLUS SHE PUT THE PHONE BETWEEN MY LEGS WHILE I WAS GIVING BIRTH SPEAKING TO HER DAUGHTER ABOUT GOING TO THE DMV!!! DONT EVER USE THIS GARBAGE DISGUSTING UNPROFESSIONAL DOCTOR!!!

I tried to give five stars but something is wrong with this rating page. Dr. Mann is amazing, accommodating and kind. She's not fake nicey facet which I like, she is just a good doctor and a good person. I also like the PA and the medical assistant. They all work very hard and are very accommodating.

I can't stress strongly enough that you should avoid this doctor. She is poorly trained and not thorough. I had a incident with her where she misdiagnosed a condition and gave me an unnecessary (and extremely unpleasant) surgical procedure. She did not take my full medical history, physically examine me thoroughly enough, or provide any follow up. I did not realise this for years and have had 10+ years of pelvic pain and ongoing issues because of this. Recently I saw a new General Physician who was able to diagnose my condition correctly, and since receiving the right treatment I am much improved. I put up with the pain for years because I had no idea that a doctor could get it so wrong. I would have pursued legal action if the statute of limitations was not up, that is how negligent this doctor is.

I was absolutely horrified by the service. I had a procedure done by Dr. Mann. After a 2 hour wait, the procedure itself took 5 minutes, after which the doctor left the room. I was dizzy and disoriented, there was blood all over, and I had to get dressed on my own and leave the place. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone!
