Everyone could use someone in their life that listens objectively and actually hears what you are saying. I think all of us deserve that person.

I have a more direct approach in counseling, paired with kindness, humor, honesty, and empathy. I have several years of experience working with anxiety and depression, but also Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Schizophrenia, Sexual Orientation/Transitioning, Relational problems, and other issues that so many people are challenged with.

I incorporate creative approaches when working with clients and always try to think outside of the box when it comes to coping skills, as we discuss thoughts, behaviors, and emotions throughout sessions.

I tend to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy more often than not, but it will always depend on what your specific needs are, and what works best for you. Everyone is unique, and all of us have a different story to tell. My role is to hear you and understand, and …help you create a better narrative, no matter how you choose to tell that story.
