Dr. Melissa Ann Chapman, DO

You can’t find hours for her office anywhere and she will dismiss you as a patient if you reschedule 3 times. Ridiculous, 3 strikes and your out. If you’re sick you probably can’t go to her because she’s closed more than she’s open, it’s just inconvenient.

Beware of discrimination and hate of LGBT persons and more interest in billing your insurance than your health.

This woman refuses to treat lgbt patients and showed up at a city council meeting calling anyone seeking equality in the workplace rapists in beckley. Beware.

She publicly stated that being forced to non discriminate based on sexual orientation was raping her business.

See above title-- you will be seen at the time of your appointment and she will listen to you. She is a wonderful diagnostician and has great bedside manner. Great staff as well!

If you are interested in a Physician, come here. If you want to be coddled and told what you want to hear, don't. Dr. Chapman is through, up to date and " by the book". She is personable, but not interested in being your "Buddy". She is a Professional.

Her office staff is very rude and she billed my insurance as if I was there twice in the same day. She double billed and when my insurance didn't pay for a second billing she put it as my responsibility and the insurance said it was a provider write off. Since I wouldn't pay for it she dismissed me as a patient and the receptionist laughed about it

Very rude staff to deal with and some shady practices going on there.

I took day off from work due to an ear ache. I called this office and made appointment for 11:15 with receptionist. I arrived at the office by 11 am. Then, I waited 45 minutes to be told that the doctor refused to see me, since I was a new patient. Receptionist said the doctor didn't have time to see a new patient today. If the doctor wasn't going to see a new patient, then they should not have given me an appointment. VERY ANNOYED!!!

She's quick to give unnecessary tests.
