Meet Melissa R. Dean-Appasu FNP-BCMelissa R. Dean-Appasu has 22 years experience caring for patients from birth to 100 years of age. She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University Purdue University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Informatics with a cognate in Data Analysis and Chemi- Informatics, later to receive her second Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana State University. She advanced her education by receiving her Master’s of Science in Advance Nursing Practice from Indiana State University. She has worked in multiple practice settings including primary care, inpatient and outpatient mental health and urgent care for the past ten years. She is Board Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her top priority is always her patients' well-being, and she strives to provide high-quality care that can improve their everyday life.She take a holistic approach to treatment, considering the individual needs and circumstances of each patient, …and aim to provide patient-centered, evidence-based care.
