Dr. Melissa Sue De Freest, MD

Lee B. Daniel, MD came to Eugene in 1999 after eight years of private practice in his home state of Kentucky. Dr. Daniel trained at some of the most respected institutions in the U.S. and is a Phi Beta Kappa summa cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He also earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt in 1984. After graduation Dr. Daniel completed a five year general surgery residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta. He then spent two years in fellowship at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, completing his specialization in Plastic and reconstructive Surgery in 1991.

Dr. Daniel is board certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in both Plastic Surgery and General Surgery. He is a member of numerous societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (which is restricted to board certified surgeons who specialize in aesthetic …surgery) and the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, Dr. Daniel is a past President of the Kentucky Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and represented his state to the national society for five years. He also served as a clinical faculty member at the University of Kentucky. While in Atlanta and Dallas, Dr. Daniel trained with many of the leading plastic surgeons in the country and he continues to be current on the newest technologies. Dr. Daniel and his wife Kathryn were married in 1992 and have three wonderful children. He enjoys his family, fishing, NCAA sports, a good joke and life in general.
