Dr. Doft wowed me during a procedure I recently underwent in her office. She impressed me as being highly competent, genuinely kind, caring and more than decent -- as good as it gets with a doctor, as far as I'm concerned. She blew me away, and I was at a place in my life where I really needed something good to happen. I hope to be her patient for a long time. It feels like a privilege.

It is a pleasure to post a review regarding Dr. Melissa Doft. This is a surgeon that is at the very top of her profession in every aspect. Her work is stellar....the perfect combination of of surgeon and artist. Her knowledge is completely comprehensive, from pre surgical consultation to post op checks. At the 4 month mark I can honestly say that the results are way beyond my expectations and I feel fortunate that I was attended to by such an amazing doctor. Aside and apart from her abilities, she was also kind, compassionate and empathetic at every stage of the process and even helped me with my pre surgical anxiety. Her excellence is perfectly matched by office manager Michelle, who added yet another degree of professionalism and competency to DR. Doft's office. Dr. Doft is a one of a kind surgeon that changes peoples lives for the better every day.

Dr. Doft was recommended to me by a friend. She is an impeccable surgeon, and meticulous in all she does, with a wonderfully kind personality.

I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Doft two years ago in 2018. I was nervous going into the procedure, but she was kind, informative, and very attentive to my concerns. As a man, I wanted the results to still look natural and masculine. The result of the procedure is outstanding and far exceeded my expectations. She deprojected and widened the tip, fixed a collapsed nostril, brought in the nostrils slightly, and slightly thinned the bridge, making the bridge and whole nose symmetrical. The result really complimented my facial features. If you are seeking results that look natural and well balanced, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Doft for a rhinoplasty to any man or woman. You will not find a more skilled or kinder plastic surgeon. I would add that it is very important to follow her post-op and aftercare instructions as well as that may impact the result of the procedure. Thank you Dr. Doft. I have never written a review for a doctor before, but this experience has had a very positive… impact on my life.

I love how much time and attention Dr. Doft gives me during our appointments. Besides being an expert in her field, she is super personable and caring and authentic. And most importantly - she does incredible work. I couldn't be happier with my facelift - I look 20 years younger and everyone I see marvels and just talks about how "glowing" I am! It has hugely boosted my self esteem and my energy. I would do this 100 times over in the capable hands of Dr. Doft.

Summary: I was so lucky to find my way to her. She is all of the following and more: kind, skillful (very), personable, treats the whole person (not just the one area presented) and is also an educator committed to her work; a true professional who teaches and writes and thus will be on the latest cutting edge (no pun) of new procedures, and developing them herself. Granular (my experience): I needed a nice result for a medical procedure. I had a tumor (two but one has been taken care of now, and we are on to the second) which I had, as to the larger, been afraid of having removed. It clearly needed to be removed. A nice-looking result was important because of the location on my body, and the removal also needed to be done with an eye to putting medical considerations, not just appearance after the procedure. I got BOTH -- a great looking result, and attention to the medical considerations of my procedure. I would in future expect I would be be more than willing (when I… need to) to put myself in her hands for a totally cosmetic procedure, she so obviously skilled. It is hard to do what she did for me (not for her maybe, but it was described as a massive procedure with lots of complexity by a few other doctors without quite the same expertise (I think; in any event I am not putting them down, I am praising this doctor!). I delayed so my problem got even worse. The tumor she removed was quite large, but the scar was amazingly tiny by comparison, and it has been closed so nicely that it is already fading from view just a few weeks afterward. It may end up being essentially invisible to anyone looking. (Much of the work is below the surface. She is great at explaining as much as you want to know about what to expect, and what she is doing or has done.) I am so grateful for her skill, her kindness, her explanations and treating the patient as a whole person --- which is something anyone should treasure in a doctor, and most do not expect from a surgeon given prevailing public portrayals. I was shocked at how GREAT the incision looked, given this was a procedure other doctors had told me would be hugely invasive and leave a bigger scar, and perhaps pain forever. NOT WITH HER -- SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING, HAS SKILLFUL HANDS, AND IS TREMENDOUSLY KIND. (P.S. Her staff are very helpful and nice as well. She will answer her own line often so you will feel as if you have a concierge medicine experience, but she has a great staff too.)

Dr Melissa Doft is a first-rate, class act professional kind, caring, aesthetic plastic surgeon that performs beautiful, careful work. She has the hands of a very skilled, sure-handed surgeon. Doctor Doft is very straight-forward but also warm. I never felt rushed. I loved being in the hands of a woman doctor for a change as well. I loved the feeling of the office when you walked in, the greeting staff, the doctor's friendly, warm and professional manner. I felt that I was being heard..all of my concerns. I knew pretty much immediately this was the one after consulting with three other top NYC doctors. At the hospital, Dr. Doft arrived on time smiling, upbeat and allaying my fears. It was all good from the start, right to the surgery and all after care. The doctor radiates positive energy. I would highly recommend Dr. Doft for a range of aesthetic procedures, even complex ones as I had.

I cannot even begin to explain how happy I am that I chose Dr. Doft for my breast augmentation procedure. As a working healthcare professional, I was nervous that I would appear phony with breast enhancement. However, Dr. Doft alleviated all of my concerns with her gentle and compassionate nature. The results were impeccable- even my OB/GYN asked for her name as she stated that my outcome was, "...the best, most natural results I have ever seen on a patient!" Hats off to Dr. Doft, may others be so lucky to be in her care!

Dr Melissa was kind, down to earth and very attentive. She seemed eager to give and receive feedback which I appreciated and didn't talk down to me. Also liked the outcome of my procedure. Already recommended her to my friends.
