Dr. Melissa Anne Frederikse, MD

I have been seeing Dr Frederikse for over 12 years. She is by far the best psychiatrist who has ever treated me for my depression and mood disorder. At 61 years old and having had depression since childhood you can say I've been through my share of psychiatrists. None of them were any good until I was referred to Dr Frederikse from a staff member at a primary doctor's office. My first conversation with her it was obvious she is highly intelligent . After being treated by Dr Frederikse for a while she was everything I needed in a psychiatrist ,compassionate, sweet, caring, thoughtful and kind. She's insightful and a good listener . She keeps up with all the new medications on the market as well as knowledgeable on all the different types of psych medications. Far beyond all this dr. Frederikse got me out from the worst deepest depression. I truly believe if not for dr. Frederikse I would be lost somewhere is a mental hospital. She was by my side every step of the way through a… long deep major depression that I felt there was no for. Dr frederikse encouraged me along that very difficult time to hang in there and do not lose hope that she had a lot more tools her her tool box and those words gave me so much hope you can not imagine. Returned every phone call , listened to every worry I had and was compassionate to all my fears right up until the fog broke and I was depression free. I owe my life to Dr Frederikse. I owe my happiness to Fr Frederikse. There is not a psychiatrist out there that can compare to Dr. Frederikse, MD She is the very best by far.

After visiting ten psychiatrists with and for my son, we finally found Dr. Frederikse. She is so intelligent, knowledgable and compassionate. My son has been seeing her for about ten years (he has a mental illness). She has always been there for him and for me. She is not as rigid, as so many psychiatrists I have known, and she will work with you, no matter what your problem. I don't know what we would do without her.

Dr Frederikse is best psychiatrist that I have ever been to in 30 years from suffering from major depression disorder . I was jumping from doctor to doctor and becoming sick and tired of finding nothing but bad care. I had truly given up on seeing anymore psychiatrists until someone in an office said that I would just love Dr Frederikse and that I should give her a chance, It was over a year before making an appointment cause I had truly lost hope in ever finding a good psychiatrist . After the death of my Jennifer I finally made an appointment with Dr Frederikse because of that lose I knew I had to see a psychiatrist. My very first visit with Dr FrederikseI knew that I was blessed to have found Dr Frederikse and I was finally in the right care and I knew my search was over. She was warm and caring , compassionate , intelligent and listened intently for years from my huge lose and sorrow than knowing after time I needed a combination of medication to help pull me out… from under that pain from which I could not regroup without it. And now just recently Dr Frederikse was there again to get me through a major depression episode form which I had antidepressant poop out .Dr Frederikse was there every step of the way checking on me and returning all my phone calls which made the transition a lot easier because of her knowledge and expertise in knowing exactly what to do. ..I was scared and I can now say because of Dr Frederikse I am now out of dark depression . I just can't say enough good about Dr Frederikse except for if anyone is searching for the best psychiatrist, search no more because Dr frederikse is the best you will ever find any where. I highly , highly recommend her.
