Dr. Melissa Mary Garcia, MD

Dr Garcia has been our family doctor most of the time we have lived in ABQ. She is professional and compassionate. She is also very patient with my wife always taking the time to ensure she understands what her complaint regardless of how convoluted her path is in explaining her ailment.

Dr Garcia is a gem to the medical profession. I would recommend her to everyone.

I was not happy with Dr. Melissa Garcia. She was my dr for about 1 year. She had sent me to other doctors for my liver I started a treatment for me liver with the other dr. When I stopped the treatment Dr Garcia was suppose to be checking my liver thru blood work and also keep an eye on my blood pressure. She didn't do any of that. She had also put me on a medication called Cymbolta. Now that I read up on it Cymbolta can cause liver problems. So I feel that she should have known that and not have put me on that medication.

Dr Garcia has been caring for my elderly mother for years. I am impressed by her attention to caring for her. She will allow all the time it takes my mother to list her multiple complaints, listening attentively, and addressing each one with her.Dr Garcia has shown compassion and caring beyond my mother's previous providers.
