She gets you in on time and explains everything thing well. She doesn't sugar coat anything it is a straight answer always.

Have changed doctors primarily because Dr. Harris' office staff is rude and incompetent. It's virtually impossible to get to the correct person in the office to answer your questions--and when you do--they typically are flustered and short with you. An ongoing issue was trying to get prescription refills called into the pharmacy. And when they were called in, there were never any additional refills given. Thus, you had to go through the same hassle every month. The woman who "greets" you when you first arrive in the office obviously doesn't like her job. The huge waiting room feels like you're at a free clinic. All around--not an acceptable experience.

Dr. Harris spends a good deal of time with her patients and that can be problematic in that she gets behind so get an appointment in the morning or forget it. Because she is young, she is thoughtful. Inside the room, you truly feel like you have a doctor that wants to know you. Outside of the office is a different story. If you need anything from her staff, your life will be misery. They insist on sending most prescriptions to the pharmacy and the nurses always forget to send one over. If you try to follow-up with her and the staff, it is rare to get a prompt call back. My latest visit to the office was terrible. I had to wait more than an hour and was ordered to get x-rays. No one called to tell me the results for two weeks. After that, I was told to go to a pain management clinic despite no proper diagnosis of the problem. She's a nice person but I'm fed up with that office. Too many patients leads to sloppiness. I don't want my case thrown to pain management clinics.

Dr. Melissa Harris-Martorana came highly recommended by a physician emeritus. Have not felt well for about a year and visited my previous doctor several times. After the first visit Dr. Harris nailed my illness on the head and diagnosed appendicitis. She has been working diligently to get my health up to snuff. Very impressed, and comfortable leaving my health in her hands and would recomend her to all

This doctor has a wonderful bedside manner. She takes as much time as you need and is very caring. She does a good job dianosing you problems and listen carefully to what you tell her.
