Dr. Melissa Rae Kinder, MD

I cut my hand with a saw while working at home during the shutdown. She came to the ER and fixed my hand right there! Saved me from surgery and got me out fast! Sent me to great people for therapy too.

Dr. Kinder handled an emergency hand infection for me that required minor surgery. She was professional, skilled and explained all issues regarding the situation clearly so that I would know what to watch for and expect. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Kinder was very efficient and qualified with a great bed side manner. She explained the procedure and made me feel very comfortable under the circumstances. She was concerned with the after care and instructed me with with rehab advice. Would definitely recommend her.

She did surgery for my carpal tunnel. It felt better that night! I’m going to do the other side soon!!

My doctor referred my to see Dr Kinder. They got me in the next day because i was leaving town for a week & they wanted to make sure they saw me ASAP based on what my doctor told them. Sarah helped me understand my insurance. Talked to me for 15 minutes about it! Thank goodness i didn’t need surgery. Great experience.

I was seen a few times and one of the last times I was scheduled the morning before like at 5 am my son car broke down and he needed to go to work so he had to take my car. I called their office as soon as I knew left a message with answering service. But when I went to reschedule Dr. Kinder was going to charge me for calling less than 24 hour before. (Like I knew my son car was going to break down). She made a statement when I went in to talk to her about it "saying Insurance does not pay good so I have to make my money somehow". I have worked in the medical field for 29 years, I thought this was horrible for a Doctor to say. I am still fight her on the payment cause I will not pay it.

Never had a long wait time to see the Dr or the Occupational Therapists at her office. Dr Kinder was not only kind and caring she took the time to explain and show me what was going on with my hand, yes she uses her lap top! That's because she can pull up all your MRI and Xray results and show you in your appointment exactly what she is talking about. This is over and above what the other Dr's I had did and I applaud her for her excellent bed side manner and attention to her patients.

I was referred to Dr. Kinder after a visit to the ER for mallet finger. The office was highly disorganized and Dr. Kinder was working off of a laptop in a chaotic office filled with multiple physical therapists. Dr. Kinder did not evaluate anything other than my x-ray and was quick to offer surgery, that was not needed. I have never felt so uneasy in a doctor's office and care. I got a second opinion and did not need any surgery to recover. Additionally within a month after insurance adjustments I received a statement from Dr. Kinder stating it was my final statement before collections action.

I have to disagree with the other comment. I never had to wait longer than my appointment time. Always seemed to be in and out. There were a lot of papers to sign though. She explained everything to me pretty good. My broken finger healed up great. I got to see my X-rays every time and they let me take pictures to show my kids. When I had a question after I had left though, her assistant called me instead of her.
