Dr. Melissa Rae Kohner, DO

Zero compassion called me in for an appointment just to downplay my serious condition and belittle me. Gaslighted me about office not returning phone calls and anything she could think of. said comfort care I have a right to chose is not taking care of my body. Wont take her seriously when she is obese herself. She lied about many things including saying need to be dying to get palliative care. That is not true it is perfect for serious chronic conditions that fall through the cracks of care.

Dr. Melissa Kohner is an excellent Physician. She listens to your concerns and is very knowledgeable.

Terrible service. I had Melissa Kohner, and she mistakenly removed the wrong mole from my shoulder. This didn’t bother me—I had to go back in and have the correct one removed, but accidents happen. What bothered me is that they tried to bill me $208 for the second removal, which was their fault. When I challenged them they blamed me for supposedly pointing to the wrong one—(even IF that was the case and I’m remembering wrong, Kohner NEVER double checked and NEVER sharpied it) and when I explained what actually happened, Julie told me it was “her word against mine” and that it was “documented”. They blamed me for their mistake because they couldn’t own up to it. Absolute malpractice and corrupt billing just to make an extra buck. After this I will never return and am finding a new doctor. Melissa cares more about her pride and not admitting to a simple mistake than she does about her patients.

She's a good doctor, she listens very well and understands. Makes sure you get the treatment that u need
