Dr. Melissa Rose Lafleur

This unknown person has left a 1 star review on multiple sites. I was not associated with any organization in April of 2024. If she did see me at another location, what may have happened is the following: Patients are informed that an annual physical is one type of visit, and one bill. If any additional concerns are discussed, then there is another bill. We let patients know this prior so they are not surprised. And if time is short or the patient is complicated, we may explain that we can do one or the other - an office visit or the physical. Occasionally, the patient becomes belligerent because they cannot get everything they want at one time. This appears to be the case here, as this person has worked very hard to trash me online.

My experience with this doctor shocked me, and I don't shock easily because I'm not young. I made an appointment with this doctor for an annual exam and I specifically said to the person who took the appointment that I also wanted to discuss another issue with the doctor when she sees me. On the day of my appointment, when the nurse is doing the pre-screening and asked what I had come in for, I repeat what I said on the phone; just my annual visit and to discuss a concern that I have about my health. Nurse then says excuse me, walks out, comes back in and says: Doctor says she can see you for the annual but won't talk to you about any other concerns. I've never before had a doctor tell me that they don't want to hear about a concern I have about my health. I immediately said thank you but no thank you and walked out.

Dr. Lafleur is a well-educated professional with caring and understanding attributes. She took time to ask questions and listen to my concerns. I liked the way she did my first consultation with her.
