Summary
Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I have been in the nursing field since 2001, when I began working as an LPN. In 2005 I obtained my RN. I decided to work towards my CRNP while working in home care. I enjoyed the autonomy of seeing patients in the field and helping to make decisions regarding their medical care. I want to make a positive impact on the lives of patients.What I want my patients to know about me:I believe that every patient deserves the best care and treatment possible. In providing care I want to care for my patients the same way that I would expect a family member, friend, or myself to be cared for.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:Spending time with my family. I am interested in gardening, travel and experiencing other cultures and hiking.
