She offered NO solutions! Rude & patronizing! The Surgeon From Hell!

The receptionist is a big part of the team. I’m amazed that Naomi is still employed! A month ago she told me that I couldn’t email scans and Dr. Miles had no access to them and to bring mine to appointment. Wrong. We spent an hour gathering and downloading everything to our computer and get there and doctor has scans! Next, I make an appointment. How’s next Friday? I say nothing sooner? How much sooner, how’s Wednesday? I say how about tomorrow? She says How’s 3:45? I drive 45 minutes to get there and my appointments Wednesday. O...K.... Wednesday I sign in, tell receptionist that last line on sign-in sheet was used and I’m number one on next page. 2 hours later after 20 minutes of being last people in the waiting room, I’m called up. She says Who are you? What doctor are you here for? What time was your appointment? I tell her and remind her that I told her I was number one on new page. I get called 10 minutes later, vitals taken, wait 20 more minutes and lady introduces herself… saying she’s Doctor Miles’s partner and what am I there for today. She was great even though she only had a blank sheet of paper. She listened, gave suggestions, talked strategy and gave me samples of a new drug and a prescription for one I’d never had. I’m glad I saw her but a 3 hour appointment plus driving 45 minutes each way wasn’t okay. Not one person apologized then or the next day. Doesn’t the buck stop with Dr. Miles? Isn’t my time worth an apology? Why does this person still work there? If she screws up with me, aren’t there others?
