Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I chose to pursue a career in healthcare after my grandfather had open heart surgery. I was still in high school at the time and was unsure what I was going to do after graduation. It was not until I visited him in the hospital that I found my passion for helping people. I was inspired by the care he received and I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. What I want my patients to know about me:I want my patients to know that I will listen to you. I will listen to your questions and concerns as well as take the time to answer those questions and address those concerns. I will encourage you to be an active member in your healthcare. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My two favorite pastimes include spending time at the beach and camping.
