Dr. Melissa Miskell, DO

I find the staff very kind and helpful. I have been going to her office for a year and it has been wonderful.

Both my daughter & myself were patients of Dr Miskell's until we could no longer take the hard sale of all their products, tests etc. unfortunately they talked us into a genetic test that we were told by Dr Miskell & her staff, only to receive a bill of 16,000!!! Do Not go to her!!!!! Unethical & deceitful!!!!!

WORST STAFF, THEY LIKE TO HOLD YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HOSTAGE! THE NURSES GIVE NO RESPECT AND TELL LIES TO THE DR TO MAKE THEM LOOK GOOD!!! I WENT TO THIS DR FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS, NEVER MISSED A LAB APPT OR DR APPT. WHEN TRYONG TO GET MY MEDICATIONS REFILLED THE NURSE WENT OFF THE WALL AND ALL SHE WOULD SAY TO ME WAS THIS IS YOUR LAST REFILL!!! I KEPT TELLING HER I UNDERSTOOD HOWEVER SHE KEPT REPEATING IT SO I GOT LOUD AND SAID FINE!!!!! SHE HAD THE DR STOP ME FROM COMING AND SAID FIND A NEW DR. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!! THE DR NEVER CALLED TO SEE HOW I WAS TREATED JUST DID TOOK WHAT HER NURSE SAID HAPPENED OVER THE PHONE. YOU WOULD THINK AFTER 10 YEARS SHE WOULD WANT TO SEE BOTH SIDES! REMEBER I AM NOT DRAWING A PAYCHECK HER NURSE IS!!

SUPERB!! Dr. MIskell addressed all of my issues concerning my hormones & health. I had a180 turn around, feel the best I have felt in years-LIFE with my treatments. I highly recommend this wonderful lady for all your needs, including their incredible skin care.

Doctor has expanded her practice and that's great but she might have put success in monetary sense aside to satisfy her patients, versus pushing us off to her NP. I didn't have a choice and the office personnel is very officious speaking with "a know it all attitude" not really allowing me to ask what's necessary for my satisfaction. She's nice and friendly but I think her focus has swayed and hormones as well as her beauty line/skin treatment center is what she prefers to push and place all her attention on. Sad that I as well as other patients/associates of mine feel we became just a number giving us no choice but to find another doctor. Not an easy task starting over hoping the next office will fit my needs and with time not depreciate in concerns of patient satisfaction and meeting my needs. I'm not the only one who feels this way but/I hope Dr. Miskell reads up on her patient reviews and looks deep within herself and change what so many of us have complained about..... Again a… beautiful doctor but wow very impersonal!

I was referred to Dr. Miskell by my sister. Both of us have changed doctors because of bad experiences with Dr. Miskell and her staff. I find it troubling to see Dr. Miskell expand her practice to Boerne, and San Antonio when she has trouble treating her existing patients. I saw her up until two years ago. Her practice partner, Keeli Stumbo left and everything went downhill from there. I was seeing her offices nurse practitioner Raye Benson. She was great. My biggest problem was the office staff. Nurses not returning phone calls on numerous occasions. I am an out of town patient. The nurse was very unprofessional with my husband. She told my husband that if I had so many questions that I needed to call back and make another appointment. Had she reviewed my chart carefully she would have known I was an OOT patient. No compassion or bed side manor. Complained to office manager, she made excuses. I would not recommend Dr. Miskell or her office.

This office is more concerned about throwing hormones at you than personal care, or customer service. The offices do not take responsibility for their WRONG actions. I left their office unhappy, unsatisfied, and uncertain. Explanations are NOT given to you well, and you feel rushed the entire time.

Dr Miskell and her staff are amazing! They take the time to listen and answer all of your questions. I would highly recommend this office for anyone looking gynecological care.
