Dr. Melissa Kay Moore Hill, MD

She is a cold and detached doctor with poor listening and communication skills. While she may have a good memory, perhaps the only thing that got her through medical school - she lacks the emotional intelligence and professionalism required for patient care. She comes across as aloof, erratic, and even provocative at times. Rather than being supportive, she seems to go out of her way to agitate patients, then flips the narrative and acts like the victim. Her go-to phrase appears to be, “Are you mad?” - typically right after she’s said something upsetting. She’s headstrong, arrogant, and dismissive of patient concerns. Worse, she openly discussed my private health information in front of a chaperone without consent, a serious breach of confidentiality. At times, she appeared irrationally paranoid, even though I was in obvious pain and extremely respectful throughout. Despite my condition, she seemed afraid of me, as if she were caught in her own disconnected world. I urge anyone who… has seen her to review their medical records carefully. She wrote inaccurate, distorted statements in mine and I plan to petition to have them corrected. She is judgmental and unprofessional. In my opinion, someone like this has no place in medicine.

If this is the same Melissa Hill who's at the ER at Baptist Beaches, I must also say that she is not a good doctor. In my ER experience with her there, Ms. Hill (I hate to call her a "doctor") treated me like an inconvenience and dismissed the nature of my urgency. I left there with a high fever, no meds, nothing. I got to my PCM the next day, after my oncology appt., and the professionals at both places wondered as well why Melissa Hill did nothing. Yes, this woman is a quack just playing on a computer. Avoid.

Doesn't get off the computer to check on patients. Seems to care about typing than patient care. Care was incomplete and she couldn't care less about her medical care. Really disappointing ER visit at Baptist with this physician. I will probably not use Baptist South ER because this physician could care less.
