Melissa Hernandez, MD attended SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, New York, graduating with her medical degree in 2011. She later completed her Pediatrics Residency at the Steve and Alexander Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York in 2014.

Dr. Hernandez has a passion to improve the system of healthcare and create a close bond with the community.

Dr. Hernandez is a dedicated Pediatrician with a warm, friendly, and caring personality and is focused on patient-centered care. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and can speak Haitian Creole.
