This Dr did my daughter surgery for stage 1 breast cancer! She made her come back to take out more lymph nodes when everything what is showing benign, my daughter was tortured what she went through! This doctor is a nightmare! My daughter is dead at 37 years old ! This doctor made us believe this was simple surgery! And she was cancer free ! All lies !

The clarity and expertise exhibited by Dr. Pilewskie was so comforting. The results speak for themselves - My wife was so lucky to have this brilliant and caring doctor to take care of her. She is truly the best.

Dr. Pilewskie is an excellent surgeon and an expert in her field. As if that isn't enough, she is also an extremely kind, calm, patient and caring person. My mother was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer for the second time in her life. She already lost one breast, and Dr. Pilewskie was great about working with my mother to preserve more of the breast tissue, which was important to her. Dr. Pilewskie cared about the patient's well-being, not just the clinical results. She explained all the risks carefully and clearly. After my mother did not get clear margins on the first surgery, Dr. Pilewskie went back and did a revision (this was a potential complication we had been informed about). She cared very much about giving my mother the best chances for recovery. 2 years later, she is doing great! I cannot recommend Dr. Pilewskie more highly. Everyone else at MSKCC was also amazing.

Dr. Pilewskie skillfully performed my surgery in a way that left no visible scarring. She was patient in explaining things to me but never condescending. Follow up care provided by a phenomenal NP, Margot LeStrange, whose knowledge and thoroughness rivals that of any MD. The nurses and surgery coordinator are exemplary-- responsive, kind, well-organized.

Great doctor and even better person. Couldn't imagine having to go through this experience with anyone else. So grateful for Dr. Pilewskie!
