Dr. Melissa Rae Scheer, MD

My 23 year old daughter had to have 2 breast biopsies done and Dr. Scheer was the one who did them. It was a very scary experience as my daughter is a lung cancer survivor. Dr. Scheer was extremely rude asking about her cancer history, even questioning if she was telling the truth! She was very cold and not caring or empathetic AT ALL throughout the whole process. Dr. Scheer, you are in the WRONG field with your insensitive personality!

I owe my life to Dr. Scheer. She found my breast cancer at a very early stage. My breast surgeon was very impressed with her interpretive skills and told me that I was very lucky that my breast cancer was picked up by Dr. Scheer.

Dr. Melissa Scheer is completely condescending, has no time for questions, treats patients like they they are idiots and dismisses discomfort and pain as if the patient is faking the symptoms. She actually rolled her eyes at me when I asked her to explain the biopsy procedure and why it was needed. She also had no time for me during follow up when I explained I was still having pain & she told me that was impossible. I have had nothing but pain over a year after having a simple needle breast biopsy. I question her competence as a doctor and would advise all against using her.

Dr. Scheer is the worst kind of doctor. She is dismissive of your concerns and questions, impatient, haughty, condescending, defensive and genuinely seems to dislike her patients and her job.
