Appointments take ALL DAY and it is always HOURS past your appointment time before seeing Dr. Terchek. She is very nice and compassionate. However, she is always scattered in her thoughts, her words and her treatment plans. She’s talks about other patient’s files for 3/4 of the times when I’m in the office and apologizes profusely every visit about the problems and insufficiencies with her office and nursing staff. This happens on all the visits I go to. She rambles about things that have nothing to do with me. Every time I have gone to see her and she has prescribed medication, it has taken over a week to get prescriptions sent to pharmacy although she always says she does it after my appointment. In this case, it's almost 2 weeks and despite numerous calls and messages to her office, I am still waiting for the prescriptions to be sent to the pharmacy. Don't get me started on her nurse... Bottom line... if you have another option, take it. Don't see Dr. Terchek!

I had been a patient for a while, off and on. I cannot say anything great about her. I ran into a woman whose mother was a patient and was treated the same as me. I fired her and felt my treatment was unjust. Good luck to those who feel she is the best.

2 hour wait while she types in all infor she had received weeks in advance. ran test it is 4 weeks later and she has not even reviewed my test.

Every visit had at least a 4 hr. Wait time. The nurse was nasty and rude as well. No diagnosis or medicine to treat at least symptoms. Went to another doctor finally in which I was diagnosed and treated.

I tried for six weeks to get a change in medication because of a change in insurance and was unable to get Dr Tercheck to give me the time of day, after I was her patient for over three years. She pays more attention to her laptop during an appointment then she did to me. Just not a physician that cares.

You will wait in the waiting room for 4 or 5 hours after your appointment.

She listens very carefully and takes the time to hear what I am saying. She is the best doctor in the whole world. She is very busy but always spends plenty of time with me to help me get better. All the other doctors in Myrtle Beach should learn from her how to effectively care for patients without wasting time. She is the best because she does it right the first time without having to redo. I LOVE Dr. Terchek !!!

I do not appreciate having to wit 2-21/2 hrs. to be seen! i do know that Dr. Terchek does take the time with each patient, but waiting that long is unlike any other doctor that I see, who also take time for patients. She also does not respond to request from Express Scripts for requests to refill prescriptions. I need Orencia weekly and I am presently going into my fourth week without it, because she has not answered their requests. I am on this site to request that she respond immediately to this request as I do not want to go iinto week 5!! M. Gail Ward PS I am currently seeking another Doctor due to these reasons.

excellent doctor but lousy staff
