Dr. Melissa J Thompson, MD

She is very rude, short-tempered, non compassionate, and very snippy! Very hard to establish any sort of trust with her. There are plenty of other doctors to try to establish a healthy patient doc relationship with in WDM

Dr. Thompson goes above and beyond her role as a doctor, and shows the utmost compassion towards each patient. Anytime I have been in her office, she takes time and care to make sure that I am being taken care of and feel comfortable. She is easily the best doctor I have ever seen, and I will never go to anyone else as long she's at the Iowa Clinic!

DR THOMPSON HAS TO BE THE GREATEST DOC EVER. I HAVE FOLLOWED HER EVERYWERE SHE HAS GONE FOR OVER 15 YEARS NOW. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GREAT DOCTOR SHE IS THE ONE TO SEE.

First things first, I was able to get a same day appointment and the receptionist who set up the appointment was very friendly. When I arrived for the appointment, the receptionists and nurse were also very friendly. Dr. Thompson is amazing. She took the time to answer my questions, even about things unrelated to my appointment. She has a great 'bedside manner' and genuinely seemed concerned about my health. Since this was my first appointment, I did need to arrive early to fill out paperwork (very easy and brief), so the wait before the appointment was about 30 minutes because I got there much earlier than needed. The wait for Dr. Thompson to come into the room was 10 minutes, if even that. A very pleasant experience with a wonderful and friendly doctor. I have already recommended her to my local family and friends.
