Dr. Melissa Ruthe Weakland, MD

I've had Dr. Weakland as my primary care doctor for many years now, and feel she is a knowledgeable, caring doctor, and also a great person. I always get seen in a timely manner, always have time enough to cover any issue I'm having, and most importantly to me - I have always felt comfortable talking to her about anything, including personal issues. I hope to continue seeing her as my primary care doctor for a very long time! I would recommend her to anyone, at any time.

I found myself wanting to like this little clinic because I thought I would get a more intimate, personalized medical care. Unfortunately, this clinic is not capable of caring for much outside vaccines or very simple and easily treated medical cases. Despite being seen there for about a year, not once was I given any form of physical exam outside of my weight and blood preasure taken, and when it was apparent they were unable to treat me for my ongoing medical issue, they were very rude and basically dropped me as a patient in the middle of an acute medical trauma. I wish it would have worked out but with having to direct my own medical care (asking for tests that needed to be preformed, and almost to the point of diagnosing myself) and the inability to receive thorough medical care, it was not a clinic that worked for me. They are seemingly nice people and slightly hippish (wish I like) but I would not recommend this clinic merely because it feels unnerving to not be cared for in… such an extreme manner.

I'm so glad I found Dr. Weakland. She is very attentive and goes beyond expectation on follow-up. She tends to look at all aspects for remedy; not just drugs. She's wonderful and I adore her staff, too.

She is wonderful as a pediatrician with our 1 month old. She spends so much time explaining vaccinations and all other matters with us. Highly recommended if you are looking for someone who is in between a medical doctor and a natural doctor.

Dr. Weakland was a kind doctor, but her office staff makes it nearly impossible to continue to see her as a doctor. It is very difficult to get an appointment and the receptionist is rude.
