Dr. Melissa Ann Whitney, MD

This oncologist does not have good communication skills. She misrepresented the possible side effects of a medication that she wanted me to take. She cancelled my appointment with another onocologist within her department. When I arrived for my appointment a new oncologist I was told that my appointment was cancelled by a staff member but I was not able to obtain the reason for this. I am filing a formal complaint.

Zero bedside manner. Not forward thinking at all. Unable to communicate and use "words" to get points across. Unwilling to speak or collaborate with other oncologists / experts in specific cancers. Not up to date with current research. Rude, but in a way that's actually passive aggressive. For instance, she'll say "Good Morning, No. Yours, Dr. Whitney." Actual email I got >1. She's terrible. I'd give her <1 star.
