Dr. Melissa Lynne Yeats, MD

Dr. Yeats and her nurse Tracy are the absolute best Dr/Rn duo. I actually look forward to going to the doctor because of Dr. Melissa Yeats and her RN Tracy. They are genuinely caring and kind knowledgeable medical professionals.

She came across very aloof, and condescending at times. It was odd but she would NOT look me in the eye. Maybe she has health reasons for not doing so, but it is hard to trust a DOCTOR who won't make eye contact. My child had just been to a colleague of hers a few days ago but needed to be seen again about something else. She basically spent the entire visit contradicting her colleagues diagnosis and advice. It felt like a personal issue between the two dr.'s more than a professional opinion. I was almost embarrassed for her because of her lack of professionalism. My child is two and she tried to talk to him like an adult. Her bedside manner needs a lot of work. Now I know why she was the only Dr. I could get in to see so quickly. I can't imagine anyone returning to her. Other than the Dr., the rest of the staff at Olathe Family Physicians were very nice and very helpful.

This doctor thinks she is a know it all. She does not help with the patients needs just get them in and get them out. I would not suggest her as a doctor to anyone. I believe she needs to learn some compassion and people skills.
