Dr. Melmoth Suhr Patterson, MD

I have been going to Laurens Family Practice for over 15 years. I have had a couple Drs there & a NP. Felt extremely blessed to be able to be Dr Pattersons patient after my primary Dr there retired. He is extremely kind and very caring. I have had many health issues over the years and some are chronic . Been discouraged and depressed for many years with these health issues and losses in my family and difficulties accepting all this. He spends a fair amount of time with me during my visits and you can tell he truly cares. My husband refused to go to a Dr for a long time. Finally I got him to see Dr Patterson & he now has my husband on much needed blood pressure meds. My husband enjoys seeing him & being about the same age they seem to have a good outlook on life and he actually looks forward to his exams and visits. Laurens is a small town....we are very blessed to have him here in Laurens practicing here since becoming a Dr. in the 70s.

I Have been a patient of Dr. Patterson for forty years. I have been offered a different doctor. NOT AT THIS OFFICE. The staff at this office would NEVER suggest that you go elsewhere. I have turned down these offers. I wouldn't consider leaving Dr. Patterson for any other doctor. His memory is great. He remembers a lot more than you would ever think. I just love him and Lauren's Family Medicine.

Have a hard time getting an appointment other than my 2-3 month check up. Had pneumonia and called at 8:00 am and couldn't be worked in. Four times in the last two months and can't see a doctor that has been my primary doctor for 30 + years. Had to use a urgent care. Appointment nurses are very rude. It's hard a. 70 year old to find a new doctor. The exams rooms are dirty , table ect. are old a raggy. When you do get in at your 2-3 months appointment he spends maybe 15 minutes with me and charges $220.00 a visit.

Great Doc who takes time and cares for his patients
