Melody J. Derrick, MD

I had a physical with Melody Derrick and she was very thorough, answered all my questions, and explained what tests she was ordering and why. She also explained what innoculations I needed and where to get them. I also received the report of the blood tests she requested the very day I had the blood work done!

My scheduled visit Dr. Derrick turned out to be the worst doctor visit I ever experienced. Most of the time was spent with her typing on her computer with minimal hands on contact with me other than stick out your tongue and listening to my chest. I had many other concerns of which none were addressed. She proceeded to blurt out that due to a color guard test I had that I have colon cancer. Not that I might have or could have just that I have it! I started to tear up and she generously handed me a Kleenex. Dr. Derrick is very unprofessional and I am now seeking to find a gastroenterologist to clear this matter up. She should be reported for her lack of knowledge before I even had a colonoscopy.

Dr. Melody Derrick is the best primary care doctor that I have ever had. Not only does she listen to what I have to say, she explains her prescriptions and suggestions. And, when I was close to death from the results of a C. Diff infection, she literally saved my life.

Dr. Derrick has always taken the time to answer any questions, and has been kind and caring. She has been my doctor for a few years and I have recommended several friends and family members to her.

Although not my regular doctor, I had to see Dr. Derrick for an emergency and she was amazing. Kind, caring, and really knew the questions to ask to pinpoint the cause of my fever. I would not hesitate to go to her again to use her as my primary care doctor should my doctor leave the practice.

Dr Derrick is my teenage daughter's doctor. She absolutely loves and trusts her.

She is the best!
